A Settlement

In April I made a “Signal Boost” post about two elderly gentlemen, Clay Greene and Harold Scull, here

There has now been a settlement in this case. here

There can be no way to right the terrible wrong that was committed here, we can only hope that no-one else will have to endure what happened to these two gentlemen.

Thank you.:) I gave up on the html...it is way too late for that.

No, they are not admitting anything, but the size of the settlement says quite a lot and says it loudly.

A little common sense and compassion would have gone a long way. Also would have been cheaper. I see they haven't admitted any wrong doing. I would say them paying out a large sum is almost as good.

Sorry to be so late in replying.

Common sense and compassion didn't come into any of this, even worse that it came from folk who are supposed to be in a "caring" profession.

I just hope the result will be that it will never happen to anyone else.

It really hurts, the lost time. Can't ever give that back. Heartbreaking. I'm stunned, wondering what kind of individual can see this and allow it.

No, for these two men precious time, lost forever.

It would seem there were a number of individuals who really didn't care at all. I will never understand it.

Money is nice, but being human is better.

Very well said.

Hopefully their story will help prevent others from having to go through the same nightmare.
I don't understand countries that don't allow same sex marriages. I would hope if they had been spouses others would have even less power to force their own (messed up) beliefs on other people.

The only good thing which could come out of all of this, is if it prevents the same thing from ever happening to anyone else.
