WW2 Vet Phillip Spooner

There is little I can add to this. The link at the bottom is where I came across this very moving video.

He certainly has a point there.

I have read and listened to a lot that has been said. I sometimes wonder if those who are gay, get fed-up hearing the word. The word itself creates a chasm, as does the word straight, just my opinion, I dislike labels.

That being said Phillip Spooner spoke to, what is to me, the very heart of the issue...Equality for all. I cried the first time I listened to him. It was simple and to the point.

Wow. What a powerful speech. I am crying as I type. Why can't everyone see the simple truth as this man does?

Arwen, feeling sad

It was to me a very powerful speech, because it is such a simple truth...Equality for all. I don't understand why that is so hard to accept.

Watching the video now. I friended you I hope that's ok? You seem like such a nice person, I meant to do it after you answered my question but I got harebrained side-tracked.

I thought it was wonderfully expressed, to the very essence of what what his generation were fighting for.

Thank you for commenting, I think I have seen you around a few journals we both frequent:))
