Book Review

Remastering Jerna

Some years ago I read Remastering Jerna by Ann Somerville and fell in love with it. The story is a wonderfully scripted tale of self-denial, betrayal, unbelievable hardship and eventually, romance. Jerna’s development makes for a fascinating read.

I read the story again last week and have to say it is still one of my favourites. Rather than repeat what others have written---much more eloquently than I ever could---at the end of the post, is a link to a great review by Dr. Sarah Frantz, the review itself is very much worth a read.

For where to buy, check: http://logophilos.livejournal.com/325700.html
As an added bonus, Ann Somerville has some lovely free fiction on her site, well worth a good look.

I know the feeling. I was able to make a dent in my "to read" pile this summer, but wouldn't advocate surgery to get the time!!!

I think you would. It is hard to read in places but well worth it.
